The story

Bluetech innovation start-up SeaAhead launched the Rhode Island BlueGreen Innovation Challenge in partnership with National Grid and the Cambridge Innovation Center. It calls on New England students to conceive and develop big ideas at the energy-food-urban community-coastal nexus.

 

The Challenge

The campaign needed to not just attract program participants, but also communicate the value of the challenge to potential sponsors in order to gain support.

The Approach

We designed the campaign with the goal of inspiring students to tackle the challenges at the intersection of energy, food, urban life, and coastal communities. The visual language comprised vibrant, energetic colors and abstract, digitized shapes that reflect land, sea, and sun—bringing together the natural environment and digital space.
